The first rule in any of our camps is having FUN. Our goal is to inspire the love of science through FUN and engaging activities. Every day, your child will learn from exciting demonstrations, engage in hands-on experiments, and make new friends. Winter Break Camp (2 days) 

Day 1 > Winter-licious 

Our scientists are absolutely delighted to be spending some time mixing things up at the Cre8ive Zone lab. We start our day by exploring different chemical reactions and how chemists practice safety in the lab. We continue our winter-licious day by learning about sweet science. Sugar has many components, and our chemists will investigate other compounds present in candy. We continue by testing different liquids to determine their pH
We examine different composition of sugar and salt crystals. We build our own crystal initials, which we continue to grow at home.
Our scientists will culminate their winter-licious mixing day by attempting to mix two different liquids with different densities.
Children will also take part in fun science based quiz about the topic.

Day 2 > Weather Science

The weather is chilly and dull. So our scientists are in for a big challenge today!  – make things bright and learn how to keep warm.
This camp is a combination of fun and super cool activities. We start by delving into the science behind weather. We use a cloud viewer to learn about the different types of clouds.
We learn how to survive this winter by talking about topics such as hibernation, adaptation habitats, and how the weather is like in other parts of the world. Students will work in teams to build a house to help animals/plants survive the winter months
Let us brighten things up a little – We end the day by making brightly colored super slime to take home!
Children will also take part in fun science-based quiz about the topics
