Visit Cre8ive Zone
At the Cre8ive zone, we offer unique experiences for your classroom, after-school programs or camp group.You and your students can discover, investigate and explore our exhibits/programs, which are designed to complement your educational objectives. Our programs are flexible and individually adapted to the learning goals of your classroom and homeschoolers.
You must have a group of 15 or more children to qualify for a field trip rate. We require one adult chaperone per 8 children. Chaperones receive free admission.

Free Play Field Trip
Designing your own customized experience by leading your students through hands-on focused learning or through exploration of the exhibits at the Cre8ive zone.
Our friendly science associates will be available to answer questions about exhibits and programs during your visit.
Workshop Field Trips
Choose one of the workshops listed below or design your own customized experience. (Please note: Workshops are for groups of 20 or less. If your group has more than 20 students multiple workshops can be scheduled.)
Enter our laboratory for an in-depth look at color-changing chemicals; chemicals that bubble, gurgle, and burp; and even some that disappear. Students discover the basic chemistry behind many things they may encounter in their daily lives and the applications of scientific exploration.
Kindergarten – Adults
Explore the basics of electronics and circuitry with motors and batteries. Transform the purpose and possibilities of everyday items with circuitry
Preschool – Grade 2
Discover the relationship between color and emotions. Learn the basics of color theory by mixing and creating the three primary colors – red, blue and yellow
BUGS, CRITTERS AND GARDEN HELPERS
Preschool – Grade 2
Answer the questions you always wondered about bugs. Explore where bugs eat, live and work in our Urban Garden exhibit.
INVENTION WORKSHOP – ROBOTICS
Take your classroom beyond their imagination by creating extraordinary activities that focus on invention and design through challenges or inquiry-based exploration. This activity incorporates science, art and/or technology in some shape or form.
DESIGN A WORKSHOP
Work with our Staff to design a standards-based field trip to complement your classroom curriculum.
